When can I have my own space??? It is too tired to write on the bed!!!!!
Look from the top and you can see...
This photo is taken from the bird's eye view. We can clearly see the children's activities from the upper half of the bunk bed, the sundries and probably the parents. This perspective is useful to emphasize the ‘small size’ of the room. It is like a silent protest that people express their hopeless about the living condition. It is sad that they have no choice and have no right to enjoy the same benefits as other family in Hong Kong.
Framing: You can almost see everything...
This photo captured all the things in the room, including the sundries and bed, are congested in the room. It reflects the poor life of this family and that’s all for their property. The photo is unbalanced as the people are on the left and other stuff are on the right. This unbalanced emphasized the ‘small size’ of the room, so that it is hard to make balance there.
Focal point? Obviously....
The children who are lying on the upper part of the bunk bed. There is limited space as the bed takes up half of the room and there is no space for other activities. It reflects that the living condition may hinder their personal growth as they lack the opportunities to explore themselves.
Is it like a capture from an old movie????
The photographer use soft lighting and dull color. It create a sad atmosphere like the old movie telling you a sad story.
>>>>>After seeing the photo, I learn that a photo can be ‘simple but effective’, especially when telling you the facts.
